NIIT: Arms Students To Face Job Market


NIIT India has announced a new set of courses for final year post graduate students as well as post graduates looking for a career in Java, .Net, Web 2.0, creative publishing, data warehousing, etc. NIIT's aim is to make persons who opt for such courses 'job ready' for their respective industries. Various courses will give them specialized skills in their desired field.

Java: The Java course will equip students with programming skills using OOAD (Object Oriented Application Development), J2EE framework, and Java language.

.NET: Targeted at engineering students, .NET specialization will make students competent to handle Object Oriented programming with C#, RDBMS, and SQL, using a MySQL server.

Web 2.0: The Web 2.0 course will furnish the students with skills to create rich internet applications with Adobe programs like Flex, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc.

Creative Designing and Publishing: Major beneficiaries of this course would be aspirants in the print or publishing industry. It gives a thorough training on Adobe technologies like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

GlobalNet+: GlobalNet+ program provides certification on technologies in infrastructure and networking. The course dabbles with different technologies like Windows Server 2008, Solaris, Storage Management, Routing and Switching, and so on. It also gives an opportunity to obtain a technology specialist certification for Windows Server 2008 from Microsoft, Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) certification for Solaris, etc.

These courses are available at all NIIT centers with fees ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000.
